Food and kitchen pretend play allows your child to imitate situations they are familiar with. Through food play, they familiarize themselves with the different types of food and food groups and learn early the benefits of a well-balanced diet. Kitchen role play widens a child’s vocabulary through learning the names of new objects and foods and using new verbs such as “cook” and “stir” and opposites such as “hot” and “cold". It also inspires little ones to share and cooperate!
