What's MonkiBox?

The MonkiBox is the leading early childhood company in MENA. Our program is here to help make the first 12 months of your child's development easy, fun, and productive! Every two months, we deliver science-based play tools, activities, and services based on your child's stage so you can spend less time researching and more time connecting with your baby. Our products, services, and activities are based on the science of child development and created by childhood experts in the MENA region.

How can I manage, pause, or cancel my subscription?

To manage your MonkiBox membership, please follow these steps:
1) Sign in to your MonkiBox account and click "My Account" at the top of the interface.
2) Click on "manage subscriptions" to manage.
3) On top, you will see your subscriptions, upcoming orders, purchase history, and shipping and billing addresses.
6) To cancel or pause click the subscription, choose the one you wish to pause or cancel in the subscriptions tab, and a pause and cancellation option will appear below. Select one you wish to do.
You should cancel your subscription and stop shipment at least seven days before your next shipment.
7) You can manage your subscription details from all the categories listed. However, subscriptions that automatically renew can only be canceled after the subscription period has ended.
We recommend you use your laptop and Chrome browser.

Why would I pause my subscription?

Pausing is a great option for a family traveling and would like to delay or pause their next shipment. If you need to skip an order and keep your current membership price.

The PlayBox Program

How does the MonkiBox PlayBox Program work?

Once you subscribe and we select the right playbox to start with. We will ship our award-winning neuroscience, Montessori inspired playtools directly to your door every two months based on your little one's stage of development. Your membership also comes with guidance on each play tool and why and how to use them, important milestones, parent services from our childhood experts.

Do you offer one-time purchases?

Yes, of course. Our subscription does save you 15% off each month and comes with a ton of benefits and extra services. But you can also select one-time purchase if you're not ready to fully commit.

What's the maximum age to subscribe for?

Currently, we offer packages for 0-14 months with our full MonkiBox product line. We do offer boxes up to 24 months, but use 3rd party vendors. Feel free to click the chat button to learn more about our current toddler line. And stay tuned we are currently working on an exciting line for 1-2 years old!

Can I pause my subscription?

Yes, you can! Simply go log into your account and click "pause subscription".

Can I rent the PlayTools and return the boxes when I am done?

We are not a rental service for many reasons, a few include that our PlayTools are specially designed for each stage of development, and reintroducing tools from previous boxes is so important for your child's development. Our PlayTools are beautiful tools that are meant to last and grow with your child, we pride ourselves on our PlayTools being the only toys you'll ever need. Enjoy your personalized boxes, it's made specially for you and your little one to enjoy as much as you want.

Do you offer a donation program?

Great question! We are currently finalizing our donation program with marganized communities in MENA. Stay tuned, there will be a big announcement shortly! :)

Why is the program a subscription?

Your child is committed to their development as much as we encourage our parents to commit to the program. We know your time is also valuable, so we decided to simplify everything for you! In our program we include everything you need for the most important years of your child's life.

Can I get a MonkiBox delivered before a baby's due date?

Absolutely! Simply at check out put in your child's due date and we will ship before your child is born. Also, we have a great line of newborn gifting options.

Can I choose the products that comes in the boxes?

Our team of experts has selected these particular PlayTools based on research in child development, so every box contains everything it takes to enhance your child's brain development. If you want to buy single boxes, please visit our gifting collection.

When should I introduce each PlayTool?

Are your PlayTools safe for my little one?

100%! We pride ourselves with our products and safety measures. Our toys are built to last and are made with sustainably harvested wood, non toxic paint and baby safe plastics materials. What services do you provide to parents?

We provide you with one-to-one consultations with certified experts, 24/7 chat support, weekly information about your child's development, parent coffee chats with experts, and expert Q&As.

What is the expert consultation?

Once you start your membership, we send you a link to book an appointment with our childhood certified expert to talk about your child's development, the PlayTools, and any other questions you have. You are also able to continue to the conversation and send questions whenever you need a little extra help or guidance.

My baby was born prematurely and the development stage is different, when can I start?

You may find it most relevant to use baby's due date/adjusted birth date, rather than birth date, to adjust the recommendation appropriately. For more specific guidance, please contact us.

Can I include a message & gift wrap?

Can I ship to my house instead of the recipient?

Absolutely! While checking out, you have the option to select billing address is the same as shipping address, or you can add the receipent's mailing address to have it delivered directly to their home.

How does shipping work?

We offer free shipping across UAE to our MonkiBox members and for gifts we offer next day shipping in Dubai. You can rest assured that we work tirelessly to ensure safety measures are applied to the package and your box and PlayTools arrive safely to your door step, so that you can enjoy all the benefits of MonkiBox with your little one.

What Is the MonkiBox Guarantee?

Chances of this happening is rare, we spend tireless hours making sure all of our packages make it safely to your homes, but if you ever receive a product that is damaged, misplaced an item, or simply want a replacement. Please do not worry as we have you covered, just email us at hi@monkibox.com and send us a picture of the damaged item. We will send you a replacement as soon as possible.

Can I schedule a deliver time? In the case of traveling or not being home?

Absolutely, you can manage your boxes directly on your MonkiBox account and pick a date you would like to receive your box instead.
