Paper Tunnels Activity

Why do this?

This activity helps children practice voluntary and controlled movements and hand-eye coordination as they try to pass the toys in the tunnel. It also helps them incorporate imaginative play when they race.
The best part it, it helps them gain spatial awareness, as they practice estimating distances, momentum, etc.!

Paper Tunnels Activity

What You Need:

  • Colored cardboard paper
  • Washi tape
  • Small balls & cars

How To:

  1. Cut the cardboard paper into slices
  2. Tape both ends on a flat surface and keep space in the middle to form a tunnel
  3. Give your little one small balls and cars to try and navigate inside the tunnels!
