MonkiBox Subscription Policy

How MonkiBox Subscriptions Work

MonkiBox delivers curated developmental play boxes tailored to your child's age and stage. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis and boxes are typically delivered every two months.

By subscribing, you agree to automatic recurring billing until you pause or cancel your subscription.

Subscription Types

Monthly Pay-As-You-Go

  • Billed monthly on your selected renewal date

  • Auto-renews until canceled

  • Most flexible option - cancel anytime

Prepaid Multi-Box Plans (3, 6, boxes)

  • Pay upfront at discounted rate

  • Boxes delivered every 2 months

  • 6-box plan does NOT auto-renew - plan ends after final delivery

  • 3-box plans auto-renew 

Auto-Renewal & Billing

  • All monthly and prepaid subscription plans renew automatically unless canceled through the Skio customer portal.

  • Your payment method is charged at the start of each billing cycle.

  • Boxes will continue to ship according to the selected plan until the subscription is paused or canceled.

You may cancel your Pay-as-you-go subscription at any time.

  • If you cancel before your box enters processing, the order will be canceled and a refund will be issued, minus any applicable payment processing fees.

  • If you cancel after your box has entered processing, the box will still be shipped and charged, even if it has not yet left our warehouse.
    Once a box has shipped, it is non-refundable.

All subscription cancellations must be completed through your MonkiBox customer account.


Prepaid Plans & Renewals 

Prepaid subscriptions are offered at a discounted rate in exchange for committing to multiple boxes.

Refunds on Prepaid Plans

  • Boxes that have already been processed or shipped are non-refundable.
    Customers may request a refund for the unused balance of a prepaid plan if future boxes have not yet shipped.

  • If a refund is requested on a prepaid plan, the prepaid discount is forfeited.

  • If a box has already been processed or shipped, that box is non-refundable, but the remaining unused balance may be refunded.

6-Box Prepaid Plan – Important Terms

  • The 6-Box Prepaid Plan does not auto-renew.

  • The plan automatically ends once all six boxes have been delivered.

  • To continue receiving boxes after completion, customers must manually opt into a new plan or subscription.

Cancelations

All subscription cancellations must be completed through your MonkiBox customer account.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Go to the MonkiBox account login page:

  2. Log in using the email address used at checkout.

    • If you don’t remember your password, click “Forgot password” to receive a login link.

  3. Once logged in, navigate to “My Subscriptions.”

  4. Select the active subscription you wish to cancel.

  5. Click “Cancel Subscription.”

    • Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your cancellation.

  6. After cancellation, you will see a confirmation message in your account.

    • This confirmation timestamp is what determines whether your next box is billed, refunded, or shipped.

Shipping Address Responsibility

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring their shipping address is accurate and up to date.

  • Address changes must be made before a box is processed for shipment.
    MonkiBox is not responsible for delivery issues resulting from incorrect or outdated addresses.

Refused Deliveries, RTO & Non-Response

If a delivery is refused, returned to origin (RTO), or delayed due to customer non-response:

  • The customer is responsible for all return shipping, customs, and payment processing fees.

  • These costs may be deducted from any refundable amount.
